Bjorn rarely smiles, thus those around him describe him as stoic. In reality, he is actually a warm-hearted person ready to help those in need. Growing up, Bjorn dislikes showing his emotions openly so he feels uncomfortable mingling with large groups. Ironically, people still manage to be drawn to him despite his lack of enthusiasm in making friends. He does not hate it when someone attempts to befriend him, but when he meets someone he describe as troublesome, he will do whatever he can to avoid that person. If he deems you likable, he would start open up to you. Unfortunately, Bjorn seldom grow close to anyone beside Berwald and Adam.

There is only two adjectives to describe Bjorn's work habits; slow and lazy. He would always put off what could be done today for tomorrow. If no one is supervising his work, he would either work excruciatingly slow or stops working all together. It takes a lot of effort to make him focus, but every assignment or job given to him is completed with no flaws, beside the fact it is not turned in on time.

The two things in the world Bjorn cannot live without are alcohol and Svein. From his outward appearance, Bjorn may seem weak against alcohol, but he is able to drink all night and still stay sober. Even Germany cannot keep up with his drinking. He makes an ideal drinking buddy if you agree to treat him. Svein, a Norwegian Elkhound, is a gift from his parents before they passed away. Svein is a loyal companion who never fails to be by Bjorn’s side when he feels down.


Relationships/History:

Born into a wealthy family in Bergen, Norway, Bjorn lived his childhood peacefully. No matter what he wanted, his parents would see to it that he would get it and more. The thing he wanted the most was to spend time with his parents, but his parents' career often intrude in family times. Majority of his birthdays and holidays are usually spent by himself because of unexpected problems at work. He truly wants to tell his parents how he feels, but he does not wish to cause them trouble. So he taught himself to hide his feelings and thoughts, which created his stoic personality.

After Bjorn turned six, his family moved to Oslo and he entered into one of the best elementary schools in the city. He had average grades (If he would only turn in his homework on time, he would have been the top of the class.) and rarely cause trouble. He does not have many friends despite his popularity at school.

Bjorn has only one childhood friend. Whenever his parents are busy, they often leave him under the care of their kind neighbors. At first, Bjorn was wary of the neighbors' son, Adam Hauksson, but after spending time together, Bjorn begins to open up. Bjorn and Adam developed a very strong friendship because of their similar personalities and tastes.

Right before Bjorn graduated elementary school, both of his parents passed away from a car accident. Shortly after, he moved to New York to live with his aunt and his cousin, Berwald Oxenstierna. He and Berwald quickly became close because, like Adam, Bjorn and Berwald shared similar personalities. He graduated from middle school in America without any difficulties and soon entered high school.

During his freshmen year, he encountered the most troublesome person he had ever met. Bjorn once accidentally bumped into Isak Kierkegaard during an assembly and from that moment on, Isak would not leave him alone. He was constantly bothered by Isak, which made his high school years terribly agonizing. He finally got serious to get the best grades in order to leave high school as soon a possible so he would not have to deal with Isak any longer than he has to. When he graduated, he was finally freed because Isak entered into a different college than him.

Bjorn had the chance to go to any college or university he wanted because if his excellent grades and the large sum of money his parents left him. He could not enter New York International University because he missed the deadline (he procrastinated again), but he was able to enter Dartmouth College with Berwald. Upon graduation, he was hired by Nation Corp along with Berwald and was reunited with his childhood friend, Adam. Unfortunately, he accepted the job without knowing Isak was hired by the same company and is in the same division.

Other:

Bjorn is ecology conscious and enjoys the outdoors. He shows a different side of himself when he is around animals and nature.
